Israel

A visit to Israel is unlike any other trip you will take. From touring holy sites and ancient ruins, to floating in the healing waters of the Dead Sea, or visiting cosmopolitan cities, Israel really does have it all.

Insider tip: Most people don't consider Israel a beach destination, but you really should. This country has over 270 kilometers of Mediterranean coast with everything from the bustling beaches of Tel Aviv to quieter stretches of sandy shoreline away from the city.

Iceland is one of the trendiest destinations to visit right now – and for good reason. With its natural beauty from glaciers and waterfalls, to geothermal pools and hot springs, as well as breathtaking views of the Northern Lights, this small European country is one of my favourite spots on Earth.

Insider tip: No visit to Iceland is complete without a visit to the Blue Lagoon. This geothermal spa has water temperatures around 37-40°C or 98-104°F that are full of silica, algae and minerals which are very good for your skin. Because of its popularity, you should pre-book your visit well in advance.

Croatia

What makes Croatia such a draw are the brilliant waters of the Adriatic Sea. Warm, clear, turquoise waters lap up against towering limestone cliffs or onto sandy beaches. Beautiful, historic byzantine-style towns such as Istria, Zadar, Split and Dubrovnik dot the coast.

Insider tip: Take a day trip away from Dubrovnik by water taxi to the nearby island of Lokrum. There are no hotels or houses on the island, so you'll find secluded beaches, hiking trails, and the ruins of an ancient fort to explore without crowds.
